Hard to tell
Okay, not obvious enough for the price in my head. The pressing elbow stopped running the workout.

BPC-157 is a synthetic pentadecapeptide (15 amino acids) derived from a protective protein naturally found in human gastric juice. It is one of the most extensively studied peptides in preclinical research, with a strong safety profile across hundreds of animal studies. Research focuses on its role in tissue repair, gut protection, and modulation of the nitric oxide system.

BPC-157 is believed to work by upregulating growth hormone receptors, modulating the nitric oxide (NO) system, and promoting angiogenesis (new blood vessel formation) at injury sites. Unlike hormones, it acts as a signaling peptide that supports the body's existing repair pathways without introducing exogenous hormonal activity.
Store lyophilized powder at -20°C for long-term storage. Once reconstituted, store at 2-8°C and use within 30 days.
Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water. Add solvent slowly along the vial wall. Do not shake — gently swirl until fully dissolved.

Started conservative on purpose. The pull-day tendon grump faded, it didn't vanish. Week one was a shrug. By week 5 it was boring in a good way. Still had to rehab it. This wasn't a skip-the-work button.
Skeptical of anything that gets talked about this much. Gave it a clean 8 weeks without stacking three other new things. Leg soreness hung around one day instead of three — that's the part I'd repeat. Could still be coincidence. I'm writing down what I noticed, not a mechanism. Didn't touch my numbers. Tissue just stopped complaining as loud. Would run it again next block.
Kept a note on my phone so I wouldn't invent a memory later. After 3 weeks, The old ankle tweak stopped yelling on downhills. I didn't change the rest of the week much. I kept the same warm-up so I wouldn't credit a new routine.
I log sleep and sessions, so this isn't a vibe check. Protocol was simple, same window most days, 6 weeks. The thing I actually noticed: It stopped waking me, which mattered more than the gym. Strength numbers didn't jump. What changed was how often I canceled the hard part of the day. Stomach was fine, which was the worry. Keeping it.

Could still be coincidence. I'm writing down what I noticed, not a mechanism. Stomach was fine, which was the worry. Mileage will vary. Mine was quiet.

Rat tendon explants & cultured cells
Researchers observed greater tendon-cell outgrowth, migration, and survival under stress. Direct cell proliferation was not increased in the tested cultures.
Isolated rat tissue and cell behavior do not establish injury recovery or safety in people.
